Hometown is the amazing brain child of culinary genius Danna Abrams and restauranteur Luigi Aloe. Luigi and Danna have known each other from very early on. Both grew up right here in Huntington as childhood friends. Little did these two crazy kids know that in adulthood they would come together once again to create what is now Hometown Bakeshop.  Luigi has been a staple in the Huntington Village restaurant community for years. Starting out years ago as part owner of Munday’s, Off The Wall, Rookies, and then going out on his own to open and still run the very successful Black and Blue Seafood Chophouse.

Danna’s passion for food has taken her many places! From early beginning's at The Cold Spring Harbor Beach Club, all the way to the famous Momofuko Milk Bar in Manhattan. Danna’s talent brought her back to Long Island to help open Kerber’s Farm, and then moving onto becoming the pastry chef at Black and Blue Seafood Chophouse. This is where the dream began.  Luigi and Danna share the same passion, determination, love of their home town and insanely hard work ethic. That friendship has made them more like family. That dream and shared love has not only made them partners it has also brought them home, and now are proud to bring you Hometown Bake Shop.
